Another win...another step closer to OSCAR gold!
"Inception" was named best original screenplay, while "The Social  Network" took honors for best adapted screenplay.
“Inception,” written by Christopher Nolan, beat out the scripts for:
  “Black Swan” 
“The Fighter”
“The Kids Are All Right” 
“Please Give” 
Oscar  favorite “The King’s Speech” and Oscar nominee “Another Year” were  ineligible under guild rules for the best screenplay prize.  
In the adapted screenplay category, "The Social Network," written by  Aaron Sorkin, bested the scripts for:
 “127 Hours” 
“I Love You Philip  Morris” 
“The Town”
“True Grit” 
Oscar  nominees such as “Toy Story 3” and “Winter’s Bone” were ineligible  in  the category because the films didn’t qualify under guild rules.
